Speed Agility & Quickness Training


One of the biggest misconceptions in sport is that “Athletes get in shape by merely participating in their chosen sport.” However, if an individual wants to succeed at the highest level of proficiency they must commit to a continuous training and conditioning program. Another misconception is that “you can’t teach speed.” Unfortunately, speed development is not always coached properly but with the proper combination of speed and agility training with plyometrics and strength training, athlete’s can turn from the turtle to the rabbit. Speed is not just north and south, athletes must also train lateral quickness to be well rounded athlete. Under the guidance of one of Performance Mastery’s strength and conditioning coaches, athletes advance through a multi-faceted speed development program.

You must strength train for your own sport, there will be some overlap with certain sports but this must be kept very specific.
